Edifício na Rua Amílcar Cabral

In response to a competition launched by two entities, the design of the Amílcar Cabral building attempts to resolve the problems that are inherent in the physical division of one structure between the two entities.

Thus, in order to achieve a building with a stronger urban presence and greater economy of space, the solution is a division that is
inconspicuous, neither in the facade, nor in any unnecessary duplication of facilities. Special attention is given to the solar protection of the building, which is implemented in such that the protective elements become sculptural objects, distinguishing the city with an innovative building.
