Planning

The Ambuíla Urban Plan maps out an area of 25 ha on the northeast side of the existing urban fabric, corresponding to the southern boundary of the Land Reservation of Luvosso. The Plan anchors itself to the scant existing features and the somewhat rugged topography in order to better integrate with the surrounding landscape. At the same time, the plan recognizes its peripheral location in the urban context, and seeks to take advantage of this condition without attempting to emphasize it in a contrasting manner but, always attempting an approximation to the existing scale and urban environment.
