Vila de Operadores da Sonaref

The housing project for the Sonaref Workers Village in Lobito has as its program the construction of 2 000 dwellings and their respective facilities, technical zones and green areas.

The land available for this development is characterized by steep slopes and the presence of water courses, both stimulating and constraining factors for the urban solution proposed.

With a view to maximize the area of land suitable for urban development and to best take advantage of the existing topography, grading and earth retaining work will be necessary. The plan proposes a high level of repetition of architectural solutions in order to control costs, and accelerate the design of the project.
