Aparthotel Tropicana

The Tropicana apart-hotel project is the transformation and expansion of a multi-family residential building into an apart-hotel.

The project's objective is to develop an alternative to hotels by creating a more family style environment. 
Behind the existing building, a new building is constructed, which uses the interstitial space between them to form a gallery that serves the apartments, and allows natural ventilation throughout the building.
The building also includes a travel agency, a restaurant, a bar, conference rooms and a roof top terrace bar with views over of the city of Luanda.
