Estrada Ondjiva-Santa Clara

The project for improving and widening the road that connects Ondjiva to Santa Clara is part of the national reconstruction program undertaken by the Angolan government.

This project has been a significant challenge due to severe conditions, namely the sizing of highway drainage due to the high water table.

The rehabilitation measures include accommodation of traffic, grading, surface and deep drainage, surface course of concrete asphalt, horizontal and vertical signaling.
