Plano Urbanístico da Ganda 25

The intervention in the centre of Ganda, in Benguela, establishes the guidelines for growth of the existing urban core to new areas suitable for urbanization along the major infrastructural axes of the territory - the track of the Benguela Railway Company and the National Highway - in continuation of the swathe of existing buildings of the colonial city, thereby safeguarding the preservation of pre-existing natural resources - watercourses and farming areas.

Covering a total area of 25 hectares, this intervention proposed 461 new social housing dwellings to meet the most pressing needs of the population of the municipality of Ganda.
