Plano Urbanístico do Andulo 45

The Andulo Urbanization Plan envisages the provision of infra-structure for an area of approximately 45 ha, located south of the city centre. Preserving and highlighting pre-existing natural resources, including watercourses, the UP follows the main road axis (the national highway), and is sited on its left side, in the south/north direction (Kuito-Andulo). The new plan attempts to set out a clear urban structure and a dense fabric, creating central areas for facilities and setting out the sites of more than 600 dwellings. The study was halted when an expansion of the plan’s area came under consideration to meet the need to establish 1 000 dwellings.
